Admittedly, I prefer interviews, panel discussions, sermons, lectures, and music, to audio books. Most books (the Bible excluded), were written for the eye and not the ear. I sometimes find it hard to keep my mind from wandering when listening to a book. I've done it and benefited, though, and this is mostly thanks to Christian Audio's free download of the month. I've listened to all of Francis Chan's 'Forgotten God' and lots of John Piper's 'Desiring God'. I was excited to see that this month's free audio book is on Handel's Messiah.
